Michigan in Motion on National Employee Health and Fitness Day

Employers and employees from across the state can celebrate the 20th annual National Employee Health and Fitness Day to promote physical activity and well being on May 20, 2009.

NEHFD can serve as a starting point for initiating a healthy workplace or a celebration of an existing effort.  Promote physical activity on May 20 through ideas as simple as providing fresh fruit or bottled water, or hosting a fitness walk.  Support physical activity year-round by encouraging employees to take the stairs or hand-deliver messages.  Click here for a list of NEHFD ideas, and ways to build a healthy worksite all year, or click on the "Celebrate NEHFD" link below.
