BollyFit® POP! Tour Illuminates Festivals Across the Mitten

Indian Inspired Fitness Dances Uplift Body, Mind, Soul

This summer, the BollyFit® Party on the Peninsula (POP!) Tour illuminated Michigan fitness classes and festivals across the Mitten, welcoming Michiganders to participate in fun, energizing Indian influenced dance workouts. The Tour lasted from July 14-September 29, stopping at five different events including the Plymouth Art Fair, Walk for Values in Farmington Hills, India Day in Novi, Sip, Sweat & Smile at Sandhill Crane Vineyards in Jackson and the Ann Arbor Active Against ALS Family Field Day.

“The first ever Party On the Peninsula (POP!) Tour was a high energy collaboration between BollyFit® and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports! It was all about getting Michiganders up and moving and feeling great about ourselves and connecting with citizens across our great state,” said Anuja Rajendra, Founder and CEO of BollyFit®.

Since 2007, BollyFit® has reached 1000’s of participants throughout the country, celebrating community fitness and awareness of one’s self and the world around us. BollyFit® uplifts and tones the body, mind and soul with a unique, holistic approach to being fit in a natural way for everyone. Its unique method synthesizes Indian dance styles with a fun, intense workout that leaves participants energized inside and out.

“We traveled from the art fairs of Plymouth to the vineyards of Jackson, danced drenched in the rain and at huge events to sold out crowds. We wanted to share with as many Michiganders as possible that fitness can be FUN no matter where you are or who you are,” said Rajendra.
