Navigating animations
There are different types of animations for different Fit Bits. Some show the proper footwork for performing a Fit Bit whereas others show a character performing the Fit Bit, either as an animation or as a series of still images.
Footwork animations can be played back either as a single, continuous animation (called smooth playback) or as a series of stills, each showing a single step (called step-by-step playback).
When you select from the main Index page one of the Fit Bits with a footwork animation, the smooth playback will launch automatically. On the right side of the screen is a Step by Step button that you can click at any time to switch to step-by-step playback. When viewing step-by-step playback, the button changes to read Smooth playback. You may click this button at any time to switch back to smooth playback.
When viewing a footwork animation in smooth playback, a Replay button will appear within the animation when it is finished. You can click this button to immediately replay the animation; if there is no activity onscreen for 10 seconds, the animation will automatically replay.
When viewing a footwork animation in step-by-step playback, a Next button will appear within each still image. You can click this button to advance forward through the animation. When you reach the last still image, a Replay button will appear instead. Click this button to loop back to the first still image of the animation.
When you select from the main Index page one of the Fit Bits with a character animation, it will play back either as one continuous animation or as a step-by-step series of stills or brief animations.
If a Next button appears within the animation, you may click it to advance to the next step. When finished, all character animations will display a Replay button. You may click this button to loop back to the beginning of the animation or series. After 10 seconds of inactivity onscreen, the animation or step will automatically replay.
