Setting screen resolution

The animations are best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768.

If using Windows:

1. Close all open windows so that the desktop is visible.

2. RIGHT-click on any plain area of the desktop (not on any icon).

A pop-up menu will appear.

3. Left-click Properties from the pop-up menu.

A Display Properties dialog box will appear.

4. Click the Settings tab.

Beneath the Screen Resolution heading, there should be a slider.

5. Drag the slider left or right until it reads 1024 x 768 (or the closest equivalent).

6. Click the OK button.

The screen will black out momentarily, then a prompt box will appear asking you whether or not to keep these settings.

7. Click the Yes button.

If using Mac:

1. Click the System Preferences icon from the dock.

The "System Preferences" dialog box will appear.

2. Click Displays.

The Displays dialog box will appear with a list of Resolutions at the left.

3. Click 1024 x 768 (or closest equivalent) from the list.

The screen will black out momentarily, then re-appear with the new resolution in effect.

4. Click the red circular button in the top left of the dialog box to close it.
