Meet Adam Hollier

We are excited to welcome Adam Hollier to the Michigan Fitness Foundation team as the Director of Government Affairs and Community Relations. After graduating from Cornell University, Adam earned a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan. He has served as chief of staff for Michigan State Senator Bert Johnson, worked as a liaison to the City Council for former Mayor Dave Bing, and was Vice President for Hantz Woodlands. He currently serves as a Transportation Officer in the United States Army Reserve.

Adam’s professional background and personal passions are what attracted him to the Michigan Fitness Foundation.

“I wanted to work at a place that shared my values. Fitness is vital to who I am as a person and how I’ve developed. As an advocate, it’s critical for me to believe in the cause. I love being active and encouraging others to do the same.”

To stay active and fit throughout his life, Adam practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mui Thai, boxing, running, cycling, and played football and ran track at Cornell University. He continues to compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and recently took 3rd place at the 2015 International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Master Senior World Championships.

Adam has been recently featured in the U of M alumni newsletter.
