Slow Roll

The snow is gone and bicycle season has arrived…join me on a slow roll!

Slow Roll Detroit is Michigan’s largest weekly bicycle ride (we’re talking 3,000 to 4,000 riders every week). It’s a fun and healthy party on two wheels! The group meets in Detroit on Monday nights, mid-April through October.  Each week they explore a different neighborhood or cool location in The D.  Slow Roll is about bringing people together. It’s about community--the positive energy in the group is so refreshing.  Rides are typically 10-12 miles and at a s-l-o-w pace (8-10 mph). Basic membership is $10 for the season. All skill levels and all ages are welcome. Helmets are required.

If you didn’t know that the Motor City was also a booming bike town, watch this 7 minute digital documentary. It’s awesome.

Opening night for the 2016 season is April 25th at Eastern Market. This year has a new start time. Check-in at 6:30pm. Rides begin 7:30pm. For more information go to www.slowroll.bike
